Using a private tour guide means you can turn away from the crowd and find the quirky, lesser visited sites. Quality of experience, rather than quantity of experiences, would be my motto.

 Some of our major sites can get very crowded in the season, while similar lesser known places can offer you a more pleasant and personal experience, without the queues.
